Rice Pilaf

My take on a well-known breakfast dish, kedgeree, and ideal to serve at a laidback brunch. Leftover fish (from the previous night’s braai) is ideal to work into this simple yet tasty and versatile dish. The masala spice mix of the tea adds a wonderful flavour to the dish.

Oukersaand Paella

Ek weet eintlik nie hoe dit gebeur het nie, maar op Oukersaand was daar altyd paella op die spyskaart in ons huis op my opgroeiplaas, Bergendal, op die berg by Citrusdal.

Gemmer Varkboud

Op ons Kerstafel is varkboud ‘n jaarlikse instelling in ons huis. En al lees ek wyd en het verskeie resepte vir varkboud en gammon, is dit op hierdie varkboud wat in gemmerlim gaargebak word, waarop ek telkens terugval.
